Know what AI tells buyers about your brand
Brand Voice reads the answers AI engines actually give about your company and turns them into one picture: whether you show up, who you are compared to, how you are described, what AI gets wrong, which sources shape that story and what could hurt trust before the buyer reaches your site.

Your brand story may be decided in an answer you never see.
A prospect asks if your company is trustworthy, which product is best, whether you are expensive, who compares to you or whether an old complaint is true. Brand Voice shows the answer text, the sources behind it and the risk before that framing costs you the deal.
Positive signal
See the attributes AI already repeats about you, such as easy to use, accurate, fast support, good value or best for a niche.
Purchase obstacle
Find negative sentiment, outdated pricing claims, false ownership facts, missing features or competitor-biased framing.
Where to act
Use source provenance to see whether the narrative comes from your site, a review platform, Reddit, a partner page or a competitor.
See it in action
The Brand dashboard rolls every answer AI gave about you into a single 360° view, scored and sourced.

From “was I cited?” to “what does AI actually say about me?”
Citation tracking answers a precise question: for this prompt, on this engine, were you cited, mentioned, or absent. Brand Voice zooms out. It takes the answers AI returns about your company across all the prompts you run and assembles the whole story: not just whether you appear, but how you’re framed, what’s being claimed about you, and where that narrative comes from. It’s the difference between a scoreboard and a reputation report.
Why Visibility has four focused views
Visibility separates the rank trend, question-level evidence, brand narrative and reputation changes. Discovery now lives under Sources, where new buyer questions are generated and adopted.
Rank tracker
Your AI Visibility Index over time, per engine. The single trend line: are you gaining or losing ground in AI answers, week over week.

Three steps: choose, run, analyze
Brand Voice doesn’t invent data. It analyzes the answers your prompts bring back, so you stay in control of what gets asked.
Choose prompts
Pick the brand questions worth asking, “what’s the best coffee subscription,” “is Brewbean any good,” “Brewbean vs Blue Bottle.” You approve the list before anything runs.
Run in Citations
The prompts run across your chosen engines using your own API keys, exactly like citation tracking. This is the step that makes the live API calls.
Analyze mentions
Brand Voice reads every returned answer and rolls it into the 360°: presence, position, perception, accuracy, provenance and risk.
A note on cost. Running prompts calls the AI APIs with your keys, so every prompt × engine × run is a billable request. The spend is small and entirely yours, but it scales with how many prompts you add, so choose deliberately and approve before you run. A focused set of high-intent brand questions tells you more than thousands you’ll pay to refresh. See the real numbers in the cost calculator and the API cost guide.
The six things the Brand dashboard tells you
Four headline numbers up top, Recommendation rate, average rank in lists, share of negative mentions, and answers analyzed, then six cards that explain them.
Presence: do you show up?
The split across every answer: recommended, listed, mentioned negatively, or absent. Your starting point, are you even in the conversation?
Position: who AI compares you to
The brands AI names alongside you, ranked by how often. Your real competitive set in AI answers, which is often not the one you assume.
Perception: how AI describes you
The attributes AI attaches to you, positive (“great flavor,” “good value”), negative to watch, and the audiences it frames you for.
Accuracy: what AI claims about you
Compare exact answer claims with your current approved Business Facts, supporting URLs and fact revisions, so possible contradictions reach review with their evidence intact.
Provenance: what shapes the story
The sources behind the answers, your own site versus third parties like Reddit, Trustpilot and the press, so you know where to act.
Risk: what could hurt you
The recurring complaints AI repeats back, plus engine divergence when one engine recommends you and another only lists you.
How to actually use each part
Start with Presence. If “Absent” is high, your problem is discovery, work the Discovery and Citations views to find the prompts you’re missing and earn your way in. If you’re present but rarely “Recommended,” the issue is framing, not visibility.
Read Position to fix your comparisons. The brands listed next to you are who you actually need accurate comparison and alternatives pages against. Use Perception to lean into the attributes AI already credits you with and to get ahead of the negative ones.
Treat Accuracy as an evidence review. A possible contradiction pairs the verbatim answer with the approved fact, its supporting URL and the exact revision used. Review that record before choosing a source correction, an owned-page clarification or monitoring. Provenance shows which sources shape the answer, while Risk keeps recurring complaints and engine disagreements visible.
Where it sits in the loop
Brand Voice is the “read the whole picture” step: discover → track → read Brand Voice → act with the AEO toolkit and earned mentions → re-run. Everything stays on your own WordPress site and runs on your own API keys.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Brand Voice and citation tracking?
Citation tracking is prompt-level: for a given question and engine, were you cited, mentioned or absent, and who won. Brand Voice aggregates the answers those prompts return into a 360° brand read, how you’re described, what AI claims about you, who you’re compared to, and which sources shape it. Same underlying runs, a wider lens.
Does running Brand Voice cost money?
Yes, indirectly. Brand Voice analyzes the answers your prompts bring back, and running a prompt makes a live API call with your own key. Each prompt times each engine times each run is one billable request, so cost scales with how many prompts you add and how often you refresh. You choose and approve the prompt list before anything runs, and the spend is paid to the AI providers directly, at cost.
Why does the Visibility section have four views?
Each answers a different question. Rank Tracker measures comparable trends, Questions & Citations manages the prompt portfolio and saved answers, Brand Voice summarizes how you are framed, and Reputation manages changes, approved Business Facts and claim checks. Question discovery and source work live under Sources.
Which engines does Brand Voice analyze?
The visibility services you run with your own keys: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Grok. Because each can cite different sources and frame you differently, the dashboard also surfaces engine divergence.
How are possible factual contradictions checked?
CiteTrack compares a saved answer quotation with a current approved Business Fact and its supporting URL. The task preserves the answer identity, fact revision and evidence for human review. After approval, a supported owned WordPress page can receive a reviewed paragraph clarification with an exact Undo copy and a separate public-page verification.
Where is the data stored?
On your own WordPress site. Prompts, answers and the Brand analysis live in your database, and runs use your own API keys. Nothing is sent to a CiteTrack cloud.
