Decision Reports

A report that says what happens next—and whether the evidence is complete

Turn AI visibility data into three owned decisions with affected evidence, a responsible person, status, expected mechanism, risk and review date. Then freeze the coverage, appendix and CiteTrack method version used for the client handoff.

Evidence ready for reporting

Watch the workflow and inspect the records behind a decision report

Use the tour for the full product flow, then inspect current visibility, source and owned-task evidence before it becomes a client decision.

Evidence ready for reportingFeature walkthrough inside WordPress

From metrics to accountable decisions

Every populated decision is carried into the client report with the evidence and uncertainty attached.

Three decision cards

Record the action, affected page, claim, source or evidence, owner, status, expected mechanism, risk or unknown, and review date.

Coverage denominators

Show active buyer questions, enabled AI services, planned checks, recorded checks, unrecorded checks, latest run and service mix.

Frozen baselines

Save the exact coverage, decisions, evidence summary and plugin method version. Opening it later renders the stored payload, not rebuilt current data.

Evidence appendix

Preserve the buyer question, service and result status, page or cited sources, and observation used in the report.

Agency presentation

Apply agency name, logo, accent, tagline, sender and recipient; choose sections and export or schedule the report.

Citation receipts

Attach page or account proof that traces verified crawl through citation, AI visit and tracked outcome.

“Can this report be trusted?” is part of the report

A percentage without its denominator can mislead. CiteTrack records what was intended to run, what produced a result, what did not, which AI services contributed, when the latest check completed and which method version created the snapshot. Failed or missing checks remain visible instead of silently disappearing from the calculation.

Archive the methodology with the result

A saved baseline contains the report payload used at handoff time. If prompts, services, decisions or the plugin change later, the archived report still opens with its original coverage and method version. That gives agencies and internal teams a defensible before-and-after record.

Decision Reports FAQ

What goes into the report, how coverage is disclosed, and how client handoffs remain reproducible.

What is a Decision Report?

A Decision Report combines measured AI visibility evidence with up to three explicit actions. Each action can include the affected page, claim, source or evidence; responsible person; status; expected mechanism; risk or unknown; and review date.

Why does the report use three decision cards?

The workspace intentionally focuses a client or internal review on a small number of owned actions. It provides three slots, but it does not require all three to be used.

What happens to empty decision cards?

They are omitted from the client report. Only cards with a saved action become part of the deliverable.

What does an unrecorded check mean?

A planned buyer-question and AI-service check did not produce a stored result in the report window. It is different from an observed absent result and remains visible so incomplete coverage is not presented as complete.

How are planned checks calculated?

The report uses the active buyer-question portfolio and enabled AI services to establish intended coverage. It then compares that denominator with the checks actually recorded and shows the difference.

What appears in the evidence appendix?

The appendix preserves the buyer question, AI service and observed status, the relevant page or cited sources, and the observation attached to the report period.

What is a frozen report baseline?

A baseline is a stored report payload containing the period coverage, decisions, evidence summary and CiteTrack method version. It creates a reproducible handoff for later comparison.

Can a saved baseline change later?

No. Opening a saved baseline renders the stored payload rather than rebuilding the report from current prompts, settings or results.

Can reports still be white-labelled?

Yes. Set an agency name, logo, accent colour, footer tagline, sender and recipients. You can also select report sections and use visibility, revenue, reputation or agency-oriented presets.

How can reports be delivered?

Generate a print-ready weekly or monthly report for PDF, send a test email, or schedule weekly, monthly or combined delivery. Previously sent weekly and monthly snapshots also appear in report history.

Can clients verify the numbers?

The report discloses active questions, enabled services, recorded and planned checks, unrecorded coverage, latest check, service mix and method version. The evidence appendix provides the underlying observations for review.

Do Decision Reports include outcomes and revenue?

They can include detected AI referrals, configured conversions, attributed revenue and Citation Receipts when those modules contain qualifying evidence. Missing or private journeys are not represented as known outcomes.

Do clients need a CiteTrack login?

No. An agency or internal owner can manage CiteTrack in WordPress and deliver a branded email or PDF. A dashboard login is only needed if the client should inspect the live workspace directly.

Deliver decisions, not a data dump

Give every recommendation an owner, evidence, uncertainty and a date to review the result.
