Check again now
For a page task, Check again now fetches and scores the current rendered page. The result is one of three states:
- Passed: the current public page no longer has the observed failure.
- Still failing: a fresh check confirms the issue remains.
- Could not verify: the page could not be fetched or the evidence is incomplete. This is not counted as a confirmed failure.
Automatic completion and reopening
A fresh passing check can complete the matching task automatically. If a future scan confirms the same issue returned, the task reopens and keeps the earlier notes, owner and activity record.
Guarded Undo
Supported changes keep the exact prior WordPress content, Media Library value or SEO-provider record. Undo is available only while the current value still matches the CiteTrack change. If another editor or plugin changed it later, Undo stops and preserves the newer work.
Keep change and complete
Some technical changes keep a temporary recovery record until you confirm the result. Choose Keep change and complete after reviewing the live page; the task closes and the temporary Undo record can be cleared safely.
