Visibility (AI Rank Tracker)

Find pages AI stopped citing (freshness)

The Citation freshness card on Visibility answers a question a simple status table cannot: how long has it been since AI last cited you for each prompt and engine you have ever won. A page can keep its ranking for months and then quietly stop being cited, this surfaces that decay early.

How to read it

Every prompt × engine you have ever been cited on is bucketed by days since the last citation, colored green → red:

  • Fresh, cited in the last 30 days (or cited right now).
  • Watch, 31–60 days.
  • High risk, 61–90 days.
  • Critical, more than 90 days, or the citation is now lost.

The stacked bar shows the mix at a glance; the table below lists the slipping slots worst-first, each with “N days ago” and its current status (mentioned or absent). That table is your prioritized to-do list.

Act on it

For each slipping page: refresh the content (dates, facts, a tighter answer near the top), re-apply the Optimize fixes, and re-run the prompt. Then watch the slot move back toward green over the next runs.

Want to be told automatically? Add the “A citation went stale” alert (Alerts → templates) and CiteTrack will email you when a page you used to win goes too long without a citation.
