Each plan allows a set number of activated sites (Solo 2, Studio 5, Agency unlimited). A site uses a seat the moment you activate the license on it.
See and free seats
- Open your account dashboard to see every active site and how many seats are used.
- Click Deactivate next to any site to free its seat for another site.
- You can also deactivate from the site itself under CiteTrack AI → License → Deactivate.
Moving a site or migrating domains
Changing domains (e.g. staging → live) registers as a new site. Deactivate the old URL first to release the seat, then activate on the new one. Staging copies should stay deactivated so they don’t silently consume a seat.
Hit your limit and need more? Studio and Agency can add seats from the licensing dashboard, or upgrade your plan, your existing data and settings are untouched.
