The Storage screen answers a practical admin question: how much database space does CiteTrack use, and is cleanup running correctly?
Where to find it
Open CiteTrack AI → Storage. The screen lists plugin tables, row counts, data size, index size and the current cleanup status in plain language.
What cleanup removes
Cleanup removes stale operational records: expired abuse-protection counters, old untouched automatic task suggestions, excess generated drafts, old automatic report snapshots, deleted-page score rows, bounded queue leftovers and temporary scan state. It is designed to keep the database healthy without erasing the work your team intentionally saved.
What cleanup preserves
- Assigned tasks, notes, owners, due dates and outcomes.
- Saved source work and relationship follow-ups.
- Manual frozen report baselines and client handoff records.
- Current evidence needed for active visibility, source and report workflows.
Manual cleanup
If the screen shows a backlog, click the safe manual cleanup control. It runs in bounded batches so a large old site does not time out. If a backlog remains, reload after the next scheduled pass or run cleanup again.
