Every rule posts to your in-app inbox (Open alerts) and, by default, sends an email.
Set the email address
- The Alerts screen shows where email goes, right at the top.
- Change it under CiteTrack AI → Settings → Alert email. Blank uses your WordPress admin email.
Send a test
Click Send test alert. It drops a test entry in the inbox and emails you through the real delivery path, confirm both before a real rule fires.
No email? It is almost always site mail delivery, not CiteTrack. Use an SMTP plugin (such as WP Mail SMTP) and its own test tool to confirm your server can send mail.
